Racists stage protests, get free pass from cops, media

Over the past weekend there were protests staged in 13 states in ‘defense’ of white farmers in South Africa, also known as Boers. Unfortunately, in many of these states these cowardly, sickening subhuman pieces of filth went unchallenged. However, the great folks at Occupy Oakland were on hand to appropriately greet these subhumans in Sacramento, CA.

Now I wish I could wrap up this story here on a positive note, but unfortunately I can’t. See, the State of California is crying poverty when it comes to common-sense programs that happen to benefit people of color but they still have more than enough money to provide safe-haven for scum that want to incinerate a significant share of their taxpayers, so of course there was the hallmark repression against brave anti-racist activists trying to stand up for decency and tolerance. In addition to this state-sponsored wingnut-welfare, the press added theirs too.

The Sacramento Bee even went so far as to regurgitate a common dogwhistle used by racists to describe themselves:

Yes they did. The Sacramento Bee even parroted the favorite white supremacist term ‘pro-white’. As in ‘we’re not racist… we’re just pro-white!’

Ludicrous.

Add to that the fact that this paper, as well as all other mainstream media coverage of this event never really connected the dots that thiese protests were run by a racist front group. This racist front group, the ‘South Africa Project’, is a campaign of the (at this point) mostly defunct Aryan Nations. The evidence is rather obvious to anyone who did their research and unlike the brave folks at Occupy Oakland, the mainstream news media didn’t do any research into just who these people really are. To be honest, I figured something was up when I heard this outfit was based in Louisiana and my hunch turned out to be correct.

The Same Address

The address for the ‘South Africa Project’ is a post office box in Converse, Louisiana. This same post office box is listed as the World Headquarters of the Aryan Nations on their website. Hell, it even looks like the same style-impaired gimp put together both websites.

David Fucking Duke

Plastered right on the front of their ugly ass website (seriously- white print on a black background was ugly by 1995 standards) is a YouTube video of David Duke, the notorious neo-nazi from a myriad of racist hate groups.

It’s the Metadata, stupid

The ‘South Africa Project’  has a smattering of poorly designed flyers (The Callibri/Times New Roman/Arial/Copperplate Gothic convention is here folks! The world’s most overused fonts – now in a nauseating slew of racism.) that are more focused on bitching about Affirmative Action than any supposed humanitarian crisis in South Africa. Doing my homework, I checked the Document Properties on the PDF files. Lo and behold:

Oh yeah. ‘Aryan Nations’ is listed as the author on this and all the other flyers posted on the site. In this case, since the flyers were made in Microsoft Word, the author data is populated from the software registration and license.

Now that I’ve answered the easy questions, here’s the hard one: Why in the hell does it take an amateur blogger to do five freaking minutes of reasearch? I mean, shit, I don’t even do this every day. Hell, maybe I should start.
