I know, right? What makes it so crazy is that this was all so obvious that these protests were linked to neo-nazis in general and Aryan Nations in particular. Painfully obvious.

For instance:
On the SAP website, every time the word white was used, it was capitalized. This is a unifying element of white supremacist literature.
Repeated mention of the ethnicity of the attackers. The ethnicity of the attackers was more of an issue than the attacks themselves. This is the same tendency they have when talking about crime in American cities.
When interviewed by the press, the guy in Sacramento trotted out one of the bigger white racist talking points: “Anytime us white people defend our race we’re portrayed as racist! Bwaaah!”. This is a point that everyone outside of the insular white racist community finds ridiculous on it’s face, and rightly so.

Thanks for the comment. Glad to see there are others out there who feel the same way.

I wouldn’t even count Seaman’s story as pro-OWS, it’s more like pro-himself. I think what he was trying to accomplish was to get his name out there and more readers for his column. It’s a valid intention, but the way he chose to go about it (lying) is way over the line.

This is surprisingly fairly common with Extended Benefits. DWD hired even more people to do these malicious ‘fact finding’ investigations a couple of months ago, so I anticipate an increase in them. This is part of a calculated move to drive people from getting jobless benefits and artifically depress the unemployment figures.

I’m a long term unemployed that even tho I have about $1000 in extended benefits, I gave up trying to collect. DWD started an exactly same investigation of me and company I did 1099 work for that DWD investigated and resolved with a determination last January. It took 8 weeks last year and now they want to do it all again. If I con’td, it would be hardship on the one person company to spend time and money filling out forms with documentation 1 or 2 times a week for another 6-8 weeks. Waste of time and money for company and state.

Glen Greenwald talks about rotating villians, democrats who take turns voting for repressive legislation so they maintain some progressive credentials but allow repressive measures through. Most democrats are just slicker enemies.
